In the beginning we – like most enthusiasts – wanted visit Madagascar and its wonderful nature. It takes a long time but we were succesful. Then we began to be interested in everything about Madagascar. We collected artifacts, literature, information etc. and prepared some lectures, articles, scripts, photos exhibitions. It become the gratest Madagascan library in the Czech Republic, a huge picture archive and many interesting facts about fauna and flora. Madagascar has become our passion and work. We love this country. We have discovered many of its secrets and its beauty. Now we would like share this amazing place with others. But we hesitate. It is possible many people will take pleasure in Madagascar and will want visit it. And they realy will visit it. And these places with captivating charm will become overrun with tourists and consequently commercial, uniform and boring. This often has happend in other parts of the world. Many places die of this modern disease. Even some parts of Madagascar were affected. But we know this is a process which can’t be stopped. From this reason we have decided to present our knowledge and information. We hope it helps Madagascar and its nature a litle bit. Pavel Hosek
